Experience Through Imagination When No Physical Experience Exists

"We have now left Reason and Sanity Junction. Next stop, Looneyville."
-Bob from Grave Peril by Jim Butcher

I've written stories that have used padded rooms as the setting. It's a curiosity thing for me, along with a flicker of crazy. I've never been in a padded room, but in some ways, having one and spending time in one sounds like fun.

I'm not crazy. Well, mostly. But I'm an artist who knows how to tap into the darker side of himself to bring more depth into the pieces he writes. I can touch the light too, but there's little adventure to be found there.

Straitjackets too. I wouldn't mind spending some time in one to sate my curiosity. And sate something else too.
