TIMM Tag of the Week, Vol 14

Tag: love

It's certainly not my top tag, and while many of my poetry dips into the subjects, more often it plays a role of a sub-theme and not the one that I actually am trying to make you feel.

Featured Art:
"Podophilia," Tuesday, February 4, 2014
This poem isn't really about love. This poem is about a mistake made sharing a secret crush with the subject of the crush. And it was just a crush, nothing more, nothing that could turn into anything serious, or that I would want to turn into anything serious. Yes, I really do like my feet, though not enough to be -philiac about them; it's not a fetish.

"I Must Be Held Responsible (I Fell In Love First)," Saturday, November 17, 2012
I really need to stop listening to Verve Pipe.

This piece isn't about love either: it's about blame, and there's nothing complicated about it.

"Something Broken, Something Bruised," Saturday, January 28, 2012
While this piece is more about love than the other two, it's just a history, an epic. It's about loves had and loves lost, and many missed opportunities discussed with almost clinical detachment.
