I Can't Tell You Everything

For as much information about myself as I am willing to share, you will notice that when it comes to some things, I am cautious and overtly ambiguous.

There have been issues with other bloggers sharing information about their workplace and employment, and I refuse to take that risk. I have allowed an places that have (thankfully) employed me, and I will give them as much plausible deniability as they need.

You can ask where I work, but I will not tell you, even if my workplace made the decision to encourage it or I go into business for myself. If that should ever happen (former, not latter), it becomes rather likely that at some point they will reverse their position and insist all pieces and mentions that were once allowed be removed.

I have and will pass along messages for places that I work in terms of beliefs, support, and positions that I either agree or disagree with enough to write about.

I suppose if you really wanted to know, and were willing to do the necessary homework, you could find out where I work, But I will not hand that information over and I will deny it publicly as long as I can. Please don't press me; the results are rarely pretty.

The offer is simple: if you want to know what I think about the places that I work, wait until after I'm terminated for unrelated reasons to press me for details; or risk losing commenting privledges. I hate to say that, but I will do what is necessary to protect the sanctity of this place.
