Don't Be A User #6

Acts inspire more than quotes.

Ironic, isn't it? All this series is is quotes, though perhaps not intended to be inspirational, instead to open your eyes.

I write a fair amount of spirituality and perception here. All of that is how I really am, trying to verbalize it in a way others can understand it, and if they can understand how I can see the world, they can better understand why I react to certain things in certain ways.

I don't write politics on here. I don't like politics. At the moment of this writing, I'm not even registered to vote, and even though I'm working on changing that this year, I only have one reason to be voting this year: healthcare. I don't completely believe the system works anymore, so unless I have a reason to vote, I probably won't. Unless there's someone or something worth believing in. And there's nobody worth voting for in my "party" anyways, because there aren't enough of us to compete against the big players. I'm a Libertarian.

But I do live these words that I share with you. It's not always easy, but it's easier being me, being this way, than trying to become something different. I tried being an optimist once, and it didn't work, just as I didn't expect it to.
