With weather like we've had this past week (speaking from western Chicagoland), I can understand when people question the validity of global warming. However, I think of it from this standpoint: As an engine grows warmer to the point of overheating, it grows more unstable, and does things you might not expect. Make that engine very large, say, like the size of a planet, and very sensitive to overheating, say by a few degrees, and low and behold, you may find some patterns of localized cooling. Just thought it was a metaphor I found his week.
