This Week in DC History, Vol 15

This one is going to be a little different, not because I planned it that way; it just happened to work out this way.

I'm always adding post ideas to my queue. Sometimes they sit in the list and never get used. Sometimes I delete them. Sometimes they sit in the queue and eventually, I'll stumble upon them, discover I finally have the skill or the material or the knowledge to make them work as a post, revise them and set them up to be posted in the near future.

A year ago, I asked myself a question:

Why would you use a drug that has a chance of making the illness worse instead of better? Would you use a fire extinguisher that had a chance of making the fire hotter instead of putting it out?

Okay, that was two questions, but the point is still the same. And as I reread this question looking for something I wrote this time of the year in year's past, I decided to revise it, and turn it into something I could post.

Unfortunately, I've been a little too productive as of late, and posts are being scheduled out as far as September, so you won't see it until then (unless someone comes to your aid and donates ten cents or more on Patreon and votes it to a higher spot).

When the time does come, the post will be available here, entitled "Sugar Pills Have Side Effects," in the meantime, I'm sorry for being so productive.
