Liberation in Ugliness

Thanks to Google's decision to merge YouTube comments with Google+ accounts this past spring, the YT trolls can now see my picture. Lacking any other relevant argument to rebuff my statements with, they have started calling my out on my lack of photogeniality.

The great thing about being ugly is you always know where you stand. Beauty is subjective, a turbulent judgment subject to the whims of popular culture. If you're attractive now, you won't be attractive always. But if you're ugly...

I know where I stand. I'm not pretty. I'll never be pretty. I don't want to be pretty. That doesn't keep me from bringing home the bacon.
