NMH: May 1 - Int. Sunflower Guerrilla Gardening Day

For a complete list of NMH Events, visit the NMH Calendar, or you can find all NMH posts (in order of posting) here.

I didn't realize guerrilla gardening was a thing, but it makes sense.

Essentially, it's planting or tending to plants in areas where the gardener is technically trespassing. Sounds pretty self-explanatory to me. I'd call it Enforced Beautification, but I suspect many would call it Green Graffiti.

Whatever you call it, the first of May is generally a day highlighted by planting sunflowers or biome-appropriate flowers and plants in disused plots, according to Wikipedia.

Don't forget, it's quite illegal, but if you had to choose something to go on your rap sheet...
