You Get What You Paid For

Well, that's it.

As expected, two weeks ago, I got a "your application has been rejected" from the Amazon Affiliates program.

That's the second time, all because you couldn't be bothered to click on a link. I can't hardly say I'm surprised, since I can't hardly seem to garner audience participation at all. The most vocal of my readers are hardpressed to leave a like on my Facebook posts, and now that those are being caught by their spam filter, I expect those interactions to fall by the wayside soon too.

Fortunately, 1) I write for myself more than anybody else, so as long as I still find value in my words, the rest of y'all can bugger off for all I care; and 2) I've had the recent inspiration to try something new.  I doubt most of you are going to like it, but, well, when you can't be bothered to take a few seconds or minutes out of your week to tell me how you feel about what I've written, it's the least you deserve.

Oh, and if you go back and try and find those Amazon Affiliate links on my page out of hopes of better-late-than-never, well, I opted to just take the whole posts down, because it's easier and faster than revising all the links contained therein. If you feel the yearning and emptiness that those posts filled, well, show your support on the upcoming posts, whether you like them or not, and maybe I'll see a sense of comradery deserving of having them back.

I am so looking forward to next week, and if you are too, you're not paying attention.
